Web

Web pages are a convenient way to publish most types of information so that anyone, or just certain people, can access it. Professors can post information such as office location and telephone number, course syllabi, research interests, and publications so that students and prospective students can make judgments about whether a certain course is right for them. Members of research groups can post their progress, data collected, or conclusions so that colleagues can keep up-to-date on research.

The possibilities are endless.

In the Department of Physics and Astronomy, all users have the ability to create web pages. The development of pages is highly encouraged, especially for the faculty.
