PANIC serves the computing needs of the UNC Physics and Astronomy Department in Phillips Hall, Chapman Hall, and Morehead Observatory. We provide support to the Faculty, Staff, and Students in their administrative, research, and teaching endeavors by answering questions, maintaining several public labs and an extensive UNIX network, installing desktops, and troubleshooting problems on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms. We also maintain the departmental email, web, and AFS servers (with 6 Terabytes of storage space). Having a computing problem? Having a computing problem?
